The news that parents needed to hear.

There's a new version of 'Baby Shark' out that focuses on handwashing.

The company behind the viral sensation has now released a new song to help tackle the coronavirus pandemic and encourage kids to keep washing their hands. The lyrics are fairly similar to the original and kicks off like this:

"Wash your hands, doo doo doo doo doo doo..."

The song then goes on to give out more handwashing tips, such as "grab some soap", "rub your hands", "dry your hands", "cover your sneeze" and "cough into your elbow" before finishing up with a final verse of "safe at last, doo doo doo doo doo doo".

It then finishes up with the following line:

"Let's stay healthy, doo doo doo doo doo. Let's stay healthy! Oh, yeah!"

The song was created by the same guys famous for Baby Shark, Pinkfong! Kids' Songs and Stories. The video also has plenty of new dance moves and shows you how to wash your hands.
