Gardaí investigating threatening letter reportedly sent to holiday homes in Kilkee

Gardai in Co. Clare are investigating a threatening letter which has reportedly been posted to a number of holiday homes in Kilkee.

There are also claims that posters telling holiday home owners to leave have been displayed in different locations in the town.

It's claimed that these posters have been displayed at different locations in the popular seaside town of Kilkee.

The posters told holiday home owners to “f off” or they might have no holiday homes to return to when the crisis is over.

The posters have also been sent through letter boxes of holiday homes in the town.

Gardai in Kilrush say that they are aware of a threatening letter in Kilkee and are investigating the matter. However, no official complaint has been made.

They're advising people who have been threatened, be it in person, online or in written form, to contact their local Garda Station.
