Holiday village Center Parcs in the UK has backtracked from saying residents would be kicked out during the British Queen’s funeral.

They also said holidaymakers would be locked in their lodges for the day – but after backlash, it seems the company reconsidered and now says they’ll be allowed walk around.

It’s been a bit of a nightmare, all in all:

In other marks of respect for the death of Elizabeth – British Cycling a body which promotes cycling in the UK is recommending not going for a bike ride on the day of the funeral in case it’s disrespectful.

And Guinea Pig Awareness week has been pushed back by two weeks as a mark of respect.
