A campaign is under way to hire more than 5,000 enumerators for Census 2022.
They will be needed to work for ten weeks next year, delivering and collecting around 2,200,000 forms from every home in the country.
Enumerators can earn up to €3,200 working part time, visiting around 450 homes each.
The Census will be held next April after being delayed due to the pandemic.
Head of Census administration Eileen Murphy has explained what type of people are needed for these roles:
"They'll need to be organised and self-motivated to get out there and deliver all those forms and collect them again, but really other than that, if you're a student that has a few hours, if you're recently retired, [or] if you're thinking about getting back into the workforce."
