An Irish Software developer has created a handy tool to let people know how far they can wander from their homes, under the new strict measures to slow the spread of Covid-19.
It comes after Taoiseach Leo Varadkar announced on Friday that people should not travel than 2km outside their residence - except if going to a shop or for some other essential needs.
The tool, is able to calculate exactly how far 2km is from your home so you can stick to the government regulations - in place until April 12th.
Dubbed simply 2kmfromhome.com users can pinpoint their location and get a clear idea of where and where they can’t go when out exercising.
