A woman has gone viral for her ingenious way to clean makeup brushes.
Beauty blogger and YouTuber Jamie Genevieve shared the hack over on her TikTok profile where she has almost 90,000 followers.
In the quick video, she shows how she gets her makeup brushes squeaky clean using just soap, warm water and a sieve.
She starts by filling a sink (or a large basin would probably work too) with warm soapy water. She suggests using Dr Bronner's 18-in-1 Rose Pure-Castile Soap but we're sure some decent shampoo will also do the trick.
She then dips the brushes into the soapy water and then scrubs it against the sieve to really get all the dirt and grime out.
As if by magic, her brushes are spick and span afterwards.
She told her TikTok followers;
"This is literally the quickest way to wash your brushes, I've done it for years"
"Try it out for yourself, it's the best."
