McGregor Arrested And Charged With Strong Arm Robbery and Criminal Mischief
Conor McGregor has been arrested in Miami for allegedly smashing a fan's phone.
The MMA star was charged with strong arm robbery and criminal mischief after the incident.
He's accused of stamping on the fan's phone several times, damaging it outside a hotel in Miami Beach just after 5am local time yesterday. The accusation of robbery is due to allegations that McGregor then picked up the phone and walked away with it.
Conor McGregor's lawyer Sam Rabin says he was allowed to leave jail after posting bail of 12 and a half thousand dollars.
Could Conor Face Jail Time For This Latest Incident?
Conor's lawyer Sam Rabin is confident that Conor will not be facing jail time. In a statement made to the news, Sam says:
"He was arrested. I believe at the end of the day that we will successfully defend this case. I can't tell you what the outcome will be but I certainly don't see him going to jail over something like this".
